I noticed you can run an ip tracer and if you look at the full header in yahoo emails, the ip is where your at. This is ok at home , a person finds out you use comcast, but it could lead them to your work if you mail from there.
Also look into portableaps.com, load firefox onto a usb chip and carry your history with you, better is to get a password protected usb chip
