Infidelity and how it can be avoided in your marriage
Infidelity. By definition, infidelity is, “any violation of the mutually agreed-upon rules or boundaries of a relationship”, according to this “Infidelity” Wikipedia entry. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you need have sex behind your partner’s back but infidelity is more about the breach of those agreed-upon rules or boundaries through the use of deception to have private and or secret relationships with someone other than your partner.
To avoid being a victim of infidelity, have serious discussions with your partner about the rules and boundaries of your relationship. Discuss what is allowed when one of you finds yourself in a sexually compromising position. Perhaps you are allowed to, “read the menu” but you aren’t allowed to order anything. Maybe you are even allowed to order an appetizer but no main course. While historically marriages have always been about one partner for life, more and more people are realizing that you it’s only natural to be sexually attracted to others. It’s when you start lying or deceiving your partner that the real problems begin.
Some more modern marriage have developed in to more “open” type marriages, where partners are free to explore sexual encounters while still coming home at the end of the day. Not only is this type of marriage great for the marriage itself, but each partner becomes free of guilt when seeing some one attractive. They can have sexual relations, fulfill their primal needs to copulate and yet still be great parents, husbands and wives.
Infidelity can be avoided by talking to your partner. Just because your partner might want to have sex with someone else, it doesn’t mean they aren’t in love or aren’t attracted to you anymore.
Instead of having infidelity in your marriage, talk with your partner and figure out your rules and boundaries. Talk about having sex with other people. All you have to do is take a look at nature. There aren’t many examples of male and females of any species, staying together for life with one sexual partner.
It’s only natural for us to want to have sex with others. We should stop fighting our natural instincts and start exploring them!

Last I heard, we have evolved past chimps, tigers, and other animals. I heard anti-freeze is tasty, but do you see me drinking it?
